Ack isnt a problem at all.  Its completely predictable.  If you think it is THAT dangerous, do not fly in it.
I do not like that it works off of percentages, as in no matter what I do, there is still a chance I will get hit.  Unlike field guns that are somewhat possible to adapt to and avoid.

Still, CV ack rarely shoots me down, because I am not dumb enough to tool around in it.

CV ack works like this:

It has a certain % to hit your aircraft.  This % is lessened if you:

Are farther away from the source
Flying at a higher rate of speed
Are maneuvering

not true, bombers do get hit but their durability is far more higher then fighters. Fighters can barely take a licking and go down, bombers on the other hand are simply tough beasts.

Where a bomber can lose an engine or oil, a fighter can't afford too.

Getting killed by a random AI is never fun...

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Again tonight up at 14k with a 262 mixing it up with a mustang, all of the sudden I see one puff of smoke and next moment I’m in the tower.  There was no indication a ship was near me.
While I appreciate your opinion and I understand you may not fly the same as I do.  I would hope AH would at least check to see if the settings have changed, because I do not think what I have experienced lately represent WWII five inch gunfire.

Thanks

WWII AAA fire was even more accurate and dense. Still, this is still an anti-fun-smack-in-your-face mechanic that turns fighting anywhere near a CV over 3K into a lottery. IMO, remove AI puffy all together. Instead, give players control of more guns in one position. Ex: one player controlling the movement and fire of 5-6 guns at the same time.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

No! No! We need it further out. How else will I ever be able to find an nme CV group without their welcome to the neighborhood fireworks show. The braille CV scouting method.
