College Football

Much more exciting than the NFL. Tonight is a good example why. UL-Monroe going to #6 Arkansas and upsetting them in OT. Also UCLA beating a ranked Nebraska at home. I just find college football to be more passionate and suspenseful than the NFL. You literally never know what you will get.

Sac State beat Colorado, and my little bro and the Beavers beat #13 Wisconsin, all a good day.

First off, on the same boat as Midway.  Cant believe the Gators were able to pull out of College Station with a win.  The offense is straight up struggling with the wide receivers and offensive line underperforming and Jeff Driskel showing that he is young and not able to make the quick decisions.  Everything is falling on the shoulders of Gillisee.

But anyways, I have always liked college ball over the pros.  The players are actually playing for something.  Playing to keep their scholarships, playing to get to the pros, and playing for the pride of their school.  The pros for the most part dont seem to care that much.  See players going harder on every play and the bigger plays in my opinion.

Anyways, fear the swamp!

After so many points, doesn't really matter what final score was :rofl
Good to see former power houses get knocked down.

Just one correction AR was ranked #8 by AP.

Yeah it was a disappointing shocker. We struggled at first, but i left when it was 28-7 figuring we had it bagged. I came back in the middle of the 4th to watch them drive down our throats and tie it up before the end of regulation. I watched their QB make a 20 yard run unobstructed right into the endzone for the OT win.

Our main QB never returned after half time (collar bone injury, i believe), one guy rolled an ankle and another got smooth KO'd. The defense was pitiful and the offense was lackluster at best. Our interim Head Coach seemed completely clueless and the new defensive coordinator hasn't put anything together. The 3 tickets i have for the bama game next week each feel like 500lb bombs in my hands  :uhoh

My Wildcats trounced OK State, after listening to some fools predict we would lose 60 to 0.  Pac 12 represented pretty well yesterday.

You guys are dumb. College football is more exciting because it is usually one sided and there is a ton of scoring. The UL Monroe-Arkansas game was "a good reason why" because of the rankings illusion. Put a number by NFL teams and you will have the same "excitement" when there is an upset. Mediocrity is rare in college football but when it happens people whine like babys (Bama-LSU last year). Can't tell me some NFL games aren't exciting. Superbowl the last 3 years came down to a play. If NFL teams dropped 54 points a game people would love it more. And believe me NFL players try because millions of dollars are better then anything college players play for. Some are complacent but 99% try as hard as possible the only thing is they are ALL professionals.

With that said i like college football more mostly because i'm a Bengals fan but also because the fans are more loyal. The "Tradition" aspect of schools and the fact that every game matters.

As they should. I hate Alabama too. Its going to bad.

Should have found a better coach. I do not think Smith has what it takes.
