B-29 drone engine power bug

I had one drone getting an oil leak and finally losing the engine after enemy fighter attack. Despite this loss of power, the drone still holds its position in the formation while I'm steaming ahead at full mil power & 375mph.
Could provide film if required.

Just wanted to bump this - I noticed the same thing tonight. Had a drone get knocked down to 3 engines, but it still managed to keep with my lead at full throttle.

...that was just before the server crashed and I lost over 300 B-29 perkies.

Just FYI, a server crash will not cause you to lose perk points.  Perk points are deducted from your account when the sortie ends.  If you lost connection, then you would lose your perk points, but that is not a server crash.

The only time perk points are deducted is when the sortie ends normally, or if the server detects your computer is no longer available on the connection.

As to the reported issue.  I am pretty certain the drones are designed to keep up with the pilot and only reflect the damage they take when the pilot takes over the drone.  If that is not the case, then we could have a bug.

Other formation bomber's drones start to fall back when one of their engines is gone. The pilot has then the option to either slow down the whole formation or steam ahead and eventually lose the drone.

OK, could observe it tonight again. Drone had an oil leak, and after some time the engine quit working.
The B-29 drone in fact did fall back eventually, but only after several (estimated 10) minutes keeping up with the lead plane at full power. Then it suddenly slowed down rapidly.
It seems that the actual loss of power is independent from the 'engine stops working' animation and happens significantly later.
