I use a GoPro Hero on my ATV trips....The level of detail that can be seen in the videos is amazing for such a compact device. Was well worth the money I spent.

That was cool! Don't care for that music much though.

I always wanted a GoPro, they seem very nice and record pretty good quality.

I did a couple externally mounted gopro vids with the 172, after the second one I decided I couldnt trust the suction cup and now its all inside. I need to get a lens repair kit for it because I scratched it.

When I use one on the glider I stick it on the wing inboard of the spoilers then put gap seal tape all around the suction cup. I end up having to clean up any sticky bits but it hasnt fallen off.

When I go Sunday I want to try suction cupping it to the canopy on the inside over my shoulder. Or if it wont stay on, Ill put it on the turtle deck behind me.

Love the song but the Brazilian airline guy nailed it with his videos. But I love the F18, with the weather I couldn't figure what country that was. Didn't look like America. But so it turned out. Before I die I want to fly in an F18. Anyone in the Blue Angels reading this?  :pray

Anyway in my day job as a skydive pilot. I'm surrounded by Go pros but none of them focussed on me. I will seriously have to get my hands on one so I can get a cool video for my kids. Yes my kids, no not for my ego!

Watch this space!

I really wanted to get a couple tows on film with the Gopro, but I procrastinated and never got it fixed before I went out of town. When I'm back in Texas, the soaring season will pretty much be over

Thats unfortunate, we fly year round. Prime season is right about over, August- Mid September. In July its to darn hot to stay up to long or else it would be great too.

Ill post the videos after a little editing.

We use it for training. Caution as the FBomb is in full effect.

Btw this is Machfly rocking it to a very short field with zero notice of impending doom in an aircraft with a glide ratio of a black hole.
