Capping M3's at 3.75 is grand, however allowing C47s to gather perks at an increased rate (only usable for perk bombers) means you'll see a lot more high-value targets to kill with your fighters.

And it's not like B-29s are that useful at anything other than strat raiding...  when is the last time you saw someone up a flight to drop a base?

Great. Call me selfish, but I'm not wasting 30 minutes of my tiny window of nightly flying time for a boring round trip in a C47 and 3.75 perks. Blowing up strats is considerably more fun than rebuilding them, and in a KI-67, considerably more profitable.

In my opinion this is a good change.  I may be mistaken but I think there have been guys waiting for the enemy to hit the strats just so they could goon it for the perks.  I noticed this just recently when as I found an inbound multi-plane mission and called it out several times with plenty of time for folks to up, climb, and be in position to thwart the hit on the strats, I had very few takers.  Then just after our strats were devestated, there were no less than 8 guys rolling goonds to re-supply them.  Don't get me wrong, I love defending and did my best but me and 2 other guys had little effect on 6 sets of inbound buffs with well healed escorts.

Exactly.  The sheer number of perks was making it so that people actually wanted their strats to be hit so they could farm them for perks.  Not wanted attempts to thwart, but actually wanted the bombs on target and wouldn't interfere with the effort to put said bombs on target.

Question...why do you care about strat and town bombing or re suppling, you don't seem to do either. I think the new (now old system) was great to get people to re supply, even when a horde was at a base, I did it many times to try and save a base, have you? Oh wait, you can't re supply a bases from a 262, I forgot :bhead

I have been building a MA terrain and all aspects of the game are important when doing such a task. by the way did you check my stats going back to 1999?

were you there when the resupply feature was added and all the big HQ/city raids stopped for the better part of a decade because it was useless to spend hours planning and flying a big bomber mission that a few lazy bastards with supply crates that didn't want to intercept the raid could undo the damage in 5 minutes flat before the bomber formation even left the sector?

and what do you think a 262's favorite prey is? what can it kill better than anything else?

I'm the guy in the fighter intercepting the 30k bombers as best I can and i want them to have every incentive to make the long trip and be rewarded by effecting the war with targets that idiots with supply crates can't "fix"

I'm also the guy with a birds eye view of the 8 guys in c47s below me at my city waiting for the bomber to drop his bombs.

resupply should be a tactical ability that affects 1-2 items per crate at a field. it is a gameplay breaker with its ability to rebuild bomber targets like factories and entire towns.

naw you are the guy at 300 feet off the ground picking people as they take off the field.  unless of course you are that good and can land 70 or 80 bomber kills at 30k.  if you really want a tactical ability then push for the removal of the rearm pad so people like you wont just fly around in a 262 picking people off by the dozens or maybe limit it to 1 or 2 rearm times.

you like to take the high road only when it's convenient for you.
