The P-51 had cannons. The P-51-B had 4x.50's.

Well Fishu, it looks like he just chewed the back end off of the Pony with his prop, so I don't think he's too worried about survival.

The p51 or Mustang mkI had 4 cannon . It's interesting that the p51 started out with 4 cannon and ended up with 6 50cal, while the typhoon started out with 12 303s and ended up with 4 cannon . Not sure what they were thinking .

During late '43/early '44 Goering ordered the LW to keep their droptanks unless fired upon!.
He accused them of cowardice and what have you when they were bounced and had to drop their tanks to fight and thus unable to reach the bombers.

Since we already have the Yak 9 and the 205 in the game I just don't see the reason to add the P51B with 4 50 cals to the plane set. The Yak and 205 already have similar performance and lethality to the 4 50's on the 51B. Adding the 20mm armed version makes it a bit understandable but not the 4 mg version.
