It would also cause a lot of idiots and twits to join, which could potentially destroy the community, depending on their numbers.

At the absolute MINIMUM, we would have to keep them off of CH 200. But they would spam country channel with stuff thats irrelevent to most everyone, just because they wouldn't know any better, or felt like being dicks.

TERRIBLE idea.

LOL have you seen my posts?

You do know that would probably be more inexpensive to pay for a subscription based game than to play a Free-To-Play game?  On average, in F2P games, players spend more a month than one pays for a subscription based game.

Now, knowing that, for this game to survive in a F2P business model, micro-transactions would need to be added to generate revenue for the developers.  That means they'd probably charge you for what planes you want to fly.  Want to fly the P-51D? $5.00 please!  Want to be able to have the option to fly bombers in formations? $7.50 please!  Want to carry drop tanks? $2.99 please!

No thanks.

If we added this and made it free, it would generate alot of buzz in the gaming comunity and would creat an increase in suscriptions

Increase in subscription is not always the best thing in the world. Aces High actually has a very GOOD community of people. Besides a few standouts like me who tend to screw things up,
I've seen in the past increased subscribers tends to lead to BAD things overall (take for example World of Tanks) - seen a new video of a guy who ran scripts in the game giving him invisibiltiy and host of other stuff.
DayZ is prime example of what happens to a really GREAT concept for a game, that has far to many cheaters.

But like ack-ack says, if Hitech wants it, he will have it. I always assumed otherwise simply on fact there are so much to add in game far as planes/vehicles.

One reason I didn't like World of Planes and World of Tanks - after I seen that crap having to spend money to actually play otherwise you get slaughtered by people who did pay.
Look at the facebook games, Zynga is my most hated company - every so many months go by - all my poker chips disappear. the CEO said while back he was doing this because the company needed money badly and had to "shady" things to get money flowing.
He'd rig games to force you to either quit or spend money i.e buying poker chips.

The requirement for it would be to take an online spelling and grammar class as a perquisite for the free arena. If you pass, the free arena is to sit in the tower and silently watch

that is not really accurate butcher.  I played for free for months and there's lots of players who play for free.  spending money only gets you faster to the tanks but buying gold rounds is a waste of money.
