Anything beats Wisconsin. Nothing to do there but get liquored up and watch the Lions beat on the packers for the 1st half before they remember they are the Lions and folding. Thanks for making Mississippi look good. Whats a stump jumper?

I love eating meat too much to associate with those weirdos

I believe when I posted that I get no pleasure from shooting animals, it was an indication that I have done it and.not enjoyed it :bhead

I see you've never been to Maine.

Yup Maine is a tiny place. Problem is the hunters seem to be poor at their chosen task. My opinion after reading the above story.

I shoot prairie dogs and let them lay.  They are varmints and when they are not controlled they will die of the plague, so at least I give the coyotes and other predators a free meal.

I also shoot coyotes, they are very detrimental to the local (and native to the area) gray and red foxes.  I sell the pelts for $18 to $25 a piece depending on the quality of the pelt, the money is usually donated to the local bar or beer garden.

I shoot pigeons and let the farm cats have a warm meal (too many pigeons = mites and lice and disease), keep them thinned out!  Same goes for wabbits too!

I think there is validity in shooting animals and not eating their meat.  There is a reason we as mankind are on top of the food chain.   :aok

:bhead :bhead :bhead All valid points, however, referring you to the earlier crap I posted, it's all well and good to kill animals for various legitimate reasons (people too) however it's the concept of deriving pleasure from the activity that causes an issue for me.

On the other hand, after spending months getting my lawn to look half decent, there is a large lardy rabbit digging the crap out of it, I could conceivably take pleasure in his demise :uhoh

I thought the english hated red coat wearing stuck up aristocrats on horses hunting foxs and setting man traps for poachers who had the temerity to try to feed their families.
