Major Genaral Adnan Sillu defected from the Syrian Army after being a party to top level talks about using chemical weapons against civilian populations. Anyways, after having a long hard talk with my Berkeley friends, and explaining to them how messed up it is to sit on the side lines n watch civilians be nerve gassed by tyrants, they finally agreed with me that enough is enough n that the USA is obligated to get envolved at a certain point. What got them was the all famous quote, that "do u believe evil exists?" Yes is the answer of course... "And that evil will always exist, right?" Right... "Then if you alone have the power to fight evil, isn't your responcablity." Anyways, with a hint of commen sense, I've been able to overturn most of my nieve hippie friends. Once again, anyways, I've been contemplating how would be the best way to handle this genocide in syria. I'm all for stepping in when is needed. But we have to consider our economy and how many conflict zones we're already involved in. I'm all for stepping in, but to what level? Anways excuse the ranting n misspelling. I'm a little hammered n was discussing this at the bar n need a second, n more educated opinion.
