F-35 and Spitfire
« on: September 21, 2012, 04:39:44 PM »

Getting to work on the F-35, I get to see some pretty cool things. This past weekend we had a Battle of Britain get together, and we got a Spit mk XIV to come out and play with one of the F-35's. Pilot put on a great show, and everyone enjoyed seeing this classic warbird next to the F-35. The F-35 is AF-6.

I'll bet they use these photos to boost Australian interest in buying F-35's.

So...I'm to choose between the two?

You can keep your F-35 whachamacalit.  I'll take the Spit 14.  That's a good deal. :aok  And would INSTANTLY pay for itself 10x over in maintenance alone vs the wachamacalit. :)

Makes a good platform to watch all the jets reek havoc and destroy you bases along with your aircraft.
