look at the fingers on that clutch. DO NOT let him cheese out. you and him will both regret it. also inspect the collar where the throw out bearing rides. judging by the condition, you're probably gonna find some wear/damage on that too.
the bellhousing on fords sets on 2 dowel pins. one is at 3 oclock, the other at 9, as viewed from the rear. use a plastic mallet and try tapping the bottom of the bell. sometimes you can get a prybar in there too. those dowels are ALWAYS tight on these fords.
if you were talking about the rear driveshaft bolts, i generally use a 12mm 12 point 3/8" drive socket on a wobble extension, with a 1/2" adapter and a 1/2" impact gun. haven't had one that that combo didn't work on yet.
seriously.......he's better off having only $20 to last him a week, than he is/will be paying you to do the job a second time. on top of that, he'll try to tell you that you shouldn't have let him do it this way, and try to beat ya up ont he price.
