It's funny, not a speck of uproar over the appauling officiating in Super Bowl 40 (Even the head ref came out a year later and apologized for such a poorly officiated game and admitted the Hawks could have won had it not been for all the bad calls)  This is probably due to the Steelers being a Media Darling, like Green Bay is today. 5 times as many bad calls, but this non-conference meaningless game got twice the national attention.

Well, I'm gonna tell y'all the same thing y'all told me in '06. Bad calls happen. We won. Move on. Quit yer squeaking and whining.

Hey Rip!  If it would have been the other way around I would have felt the same way.

And yes I did see that superbowl, and yes there were more then a few calls that went against the Hawks.
And...I howled then.  Steelers got way to many officiated breaks.  Another travesty.

However this is about REPLACEMENT Officals.  They need to go back to Pop Warner Football.

Whiles that was bad it pales in comparison to all the bad calls in this game. I'd have to disagree with you on GB being a media darling. lol

So, looks like there is an agreement.

Will everyone go back to squeaking about these refs in College football now?

Im with Ripsnort and Seattle 100%, it' in the books - done deal - bad calls happen, and I haven't been to Seattle in over 10-years.

Ontop of it all, I thought it was a pretty decent call... this isn't the first time I've seen an (extremely) arguable call because of a questionable "in-the-air on-the-ground" call (although as a first - this was made by a likely non-overpaid ref, and it may of been AGAINST the favored over-franchise team (guess this non-pro bread-n-butter ref missed the pro memo about brown-nosing for your bacon)).

In the end even the NFL said the call was bad and that GB should have won.

Well it put the nail in the coffin so to speak as the lockout is over.

Tonights game will have pro refs.
