Last Resort

Anyone watching this new show about a rogue US Navy boomer on ABC? So far it's pretty dang good but they are just setting up the backstory. I'm sure it will dissolve into a soap opera fast enough.

it was err...ehh...interesting. should devolve into a typical "writers don't know what to do" before the season ends. nowhere near as riveting as sons but i didn't expect much based on the premise.

i found elementary to be far more entertaining...

They need to revisit 'Bah Bah Black Sheep' or something similar. With the CGI and other cool stuff they could put together some wicked shows!... before they dissolve it into some sappy Jersey Shore clowns flying around crying about their wives back home... *sigh*  :cry

Missed tonights episode  :frown:

Was able to see the first 15 minutes tonight off the net though. I'll keep looking.

I fell asleep before I could actually watch the first episode. Looks pretty good though from what I've seen.

The second episode was good. Not quite as good as the first one, but still interesting.

The Navy folks have GOT to be rolling on the floor laughing at what the writers think a boomer is like. I have had a very difficult time with the program. The eye candy is nice but there are holes you could float a battle group through in the script. Frankly I think it's one of those shows that is a whole lot better if you are about 4.9 sheets to the wind watching it.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Completely agree. You have to suspend reality and take it for what it is, a TV drama. But at least it's an interesting storyline. I can't see it lasting more than 1 season tho. Would have made a really good miniseries.
