I heard this on an independent radio station around noon today. This is the strangest I have heard in a while.

Synthpop is starting to make a comeback actually, as well as various other features of 80s aesthetics

'Grimes' made huge waves in the independent music scene early this year with her critically acclaimed debut album 'Visions' (I feel like some kind of promoter...)

I mean there are other synthpop acts that are gaining traction as well. Who knows how long the trend will last, though.

Another oddity

If you look into the archives, there are a lot of little known songs in there that were more or less found in thrift stores. I remember hearing a few of them a very long time ago.
