Lookin' For CO-OP style wargame
« on: September 30, 2012, 03:17:38 PM »
Hi guys,
Years back, my old squad, the CAF used to do COOP wargaming together
for a change of pace. We did the original "Operation Flashpoint" among others.
Anyway, I'm thinkin' of setting somethin' up again with my squad and
am looking for something similar that allows 6 or more guys to play
COOP against the computer AI on a PC.
  The requirements are:
Cost 20 bucks or less
Can be played on a box 3 years old or so
Allows for 6 players in COOP mode against the computer AI.
Player-made scenarios (not a must)

Any and all input sincerely appreciated.

Regards,
Oddball

ODD! I miss the days of RJO back when the game was fun.

I still have operation flashpoint here on cd, havent played it in a very long time. That is the only game I can think of at the moment

OpFlash was a classic and was my original choice, but it's no longer
being produced and my fear was that there'd be more guys in the
squad wanting to play it than could get copies
However, I did some looking about and the same guys who did OpFlash
made one a few years back called "Arma: Combat Operations".
It's the "sequel" to the original. (I played OpFlash 2, but it's
not by the same guys and is basically a different game.)
Anyway, I grabbed this one from Steam for 8 bucks and will
give it a whirl tomorrow.

BTW, the game's still fun. I remember the rotation thing back in the
days of the old RJO. When it came my turn to run things, I found myself
quickly overwhelmed and Crash, my old C.O. from the CAF days
thankfully took over and got things back under control.

Best regards, Odd
