Spurrier to fans: Be nice to Lee Corso

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

With ESPN's College Gameday heading to town this Saturday to cap off the game against the Georgia Bulldogs, Gamecock coach Steve Spurrier is asking fans to be nice to analyst Lee Corso.

"Lee Corso likes us," Spurrier said during his weekly press conference on Tuesday. "He made a statement years ago that we would never win the SEC and so far, he's right. I really believe he pulls for us a lot. Hopefully our fans won't boo him. He's a good guy, he really is."

Corso, of course, raised the ire of Gamecock fans back in 2004 when Spurrier first took the job at South Carolina.

The former Indiana Hoosiers coach claimed that Spurrier could never win the SEC even if he coached here for 400 years.
All I know is that this is going to be a good game!

Ouch,  office on Saturday, 

The really sad part is I work in the warehouse.  Since I'm still a full time student, I only come into work on Friday nights and work all day Saturday.  Everyone else is usually gone except for me, my buddy, and the night crew Mexicans.  Our job is to move product from warehouse to warehouse (my buddy drives the truck and we both operate forklifts at the other warehouse).  While waiting on the Mexicanos to load the truck at the plant, we usually watch tv in the office!

Can we get a chant started about the Big Choke conferences being over rated once again...well I think college football is looking at a down year this year. No one in the SEC is really standing out as being on the same level as the top two teams so far including my Seminoles. I pull for the SEC against any one else and I pull for in state schools against all others as well. Even though I played at UAB...just don't start with my team right now. Give us a full season under the new HC (who I really like) and lets see if we jump up and do something good.

to be fair Buckshot, your team did give us a scare a few weeks ago.... Then we beat them 49-6

Winning at Williams-Bryce has proven to be very difficult in the past few years, and this Saturday the stadium might just explode. I expect this game to be very close. In the end, Lattimore carries the team and the defense negates the stellar offense of Georgia. 31-28 USC

Yeah I got the Noles doing somehting this year I dont know how big just yet. Bama looks increadible again tho. As a Big 10 homer Im gonna blame over sining for TEAM SEC's roflstomppin' everyone.
