I agree %100.  Same goes for the TBM as well.   

The ability to let loose the dog of war from a carrier group would be even that much more fun!!!

Issue is, where are you going to fit your drones on the flight deck? I doubt Hitech would be too enthusiastic about having drones start out occupying the same space as the lead aircraft.

i think they already are questionable, from full airfields.. formations start on hills, take off thru grasss and taxiways, will fly in front of you while landing, they warp on maneuvering, etc. etc.

it might reward the weirdo in the formation of tbm's to torpedo a cv, instead of the typical b26's or lancs  that usually bomb a cv??

Well, as kvuo75 already said.. Plane formations do plenty of weird stuff already, even from land bases..
Do ya think they really acted that way taking off??? Of course not..
So what diff would it make for Kates on a CV deck.. Same O Same O...

Besides, multiple uppers on a carrier deck overlap anyway.. On a busy CV, 10 planes in one!
People have asked for realistic runway and flight deck procedures, people don't want it, too much trouble..

Only problem is that its akin to saying "well, some planes already carry unhistorical loadouts, lets let all of them do it".


I just doubt HTC would be in favor of intentionally increasing the unrealistic aspects of the game.
