My two boys are keeping track of this in their respective classes. One is in third grade and the other is a sophomore in high school. The high school class is actually learning about the science of what it takes to engineer and do this type of jump while the third graders are just learning that it can be done. I think this is awesome and for kids who are into science and mathematics this is a great time...kinda like when many of us can say we watched the first space shuttle launch or the launch of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions. There aren't many publicly witnessed major science experiments but this is one and it will be awesome if he can do it.
