You never know what he has added. I love that place and plan to retire there and just sit at the end of the runway all day.

 ya know? i keep saying i'm gonna go to one of the carolinas, and get the biggest piece of property i can, to retire. i like your plan better.

by the time i retire it will be a very different world though. perhaps a better idea would be to volunteer there. Get some hands on time, which Im sure you as a mechanic might enjoy.

Damn it, I only got to see his fi-56 fly. I would have much rather seen that. Maybe I'll go this weekend. He always does flying demonstrations at 2:00pm

 that's what i thought when i saw that.

 one of our r/c pilots had a kit-built r/c wildcat. with chain operated landing gear. was pretty dam cool.
