Not angry at all.  Ultimately I think it is for HiTech to shoot down wishes.

And some just want a gamey option so they can fly at unhistorically high performance levels by dumping fuel until they have only 15%, 10%... hell 1% onboard.

yes they do, which is a shame.

I'd support it if it was historical. cant imagine any fighters had it, but if you can find examples of aircraft that did then its a legit wishlist

It wasn't common or required during WW2. Even modern airlines don't have them in many cases. You hear stories in the news about how they had to circle the airport for 2-3 hours to burn off fuel before returning to land.

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head aren't in-game. Such as the Bristol Blenheim (or, some versions of it -- not all had it).

Kind of like tanks shooting down aircraft on a regular basis with the main gun?  and Lancs dropping 14/1k bombs at 500ft over a gv spawn?  or taking up DT's w/ %25 internal fuel? or bombers w/o supplied oxygen getting to 35k alt?  (and a few others)

Thats why I drive tanks.  Every time I up an aircraft I seem to have no problem dumping fuel. Of course it's usually because of unsightly holes that appear in my wings for no apparent reason.

Given that fuel dump is generally designed into an aircraft to allow for a landing without exceeding max landing weight, why would a WWII aircraft need it anyway? I would think you'd just dump the ords if you had to RTB in an emergency if you're a heavy aircraft, and I suspect most fighter aircraft had structural landing limits well beyond their MTOW anyway.

Even an airliner can land safely well above MLW if really needed in an emergency - I wouldn't think that WWII designers would be as pre-occupied with crew safety in such a scenario as would a civilian aircraft designer.

No.  Those things would be physically possible, though highly unlikely whereas for most WWII aircraft dumping fuel in flight was physically impossible.
