M3 dropping troops change

I set my salvo to 10 when drooping troops. When I'm in the cab and drop the troops I would like to be able to man the gun to protect them while they are exiting the vehicle. So the wish is that if you have it set to salvo 10 once your tell them to get out of the M3 they continue to do so even if you've switched to your gun.

I like it!   Would it be possible to do this today if a gunner were attached/manning the gun while you released troops?

I don't know I've never tried. But heck once the order is given to get out of the vehicle they should get out  :)

that would also allow the bombers to drop their bombs then immediately jump to their guns.  an m3 with a single mg will hardly protect their troops  but the bomber with a lot more mgs can protect its aircraft while the bombs are still falling.

It is a bit frustrating to have to be sitting in the driver position the entire time the troops are piling out the rear door, I agree.  It would be nice to be able to be in the gunners position and let them run.   :aok

Its a 50cal  and you would be surprised at what a singel 50 can do at close range. I can turrent a wirble. Or shot back at another m3 or kill the jeep that just ran out of the hanger to kill my troops. etc etc

This post is not about bombers its about m3s

yes of course that's why m3's have thousands of kills a month on airplanes.
