If you build it, will they come? I have seen custom arenas from time to time...most are password protected for private stuff. Many times the open ones have just the one guy who created it in there. Without a descriptive title, or BBS advertising that would pique some interest, I doubt anyone would "just show up to see what's going on".

I've built some before, open for FSO practice and used to get close to the max 16 players in there. I guess it all depends on who built it and if anyone knows ahead of time that it will be available.

I doubt the general Late War populace even knows there are other arenas available other than LW.

I would fight you in a 262 if it didn't take like forever to get the perks back. I know how good you are in that bird so of course thats another reason to.

I always look forward to finding enemy 262s when I up one myself. One problem is that there is usually 3 or 4 P-51's who also want to kill your 262. The second problem is meeting a 262 while also flying one is fairly rare. I've only had a 262 vs 262 match up twice in all my years of playing.
