Something to think about...

Let me start out by saying that I sent HT an email describing my reasons for acting like such a fool in the MA on Thursday along with an apology. I know there should be no excuse for acting the way I did, however, I was very  'fed up' shall we say with certain things about HTC, which have no business being brought up to AH community or this forum from me... and I am sorry I did.
I sent the email to Hitech last night around 6:00 PM EST and have yet to received a reply.

I apologize to everyone for acting the way I did and infecting the MA with my bad mood and actions. I also apologize to Natedog, Superfly and HT for slamming their work, however, I was only expressing my opinions even though in a harsh way, and, in the wrong place.

As for me playing AH today, a friend of mine let me play his account for the duration of 'Hostile Shores', I made a promise to him that I would not say 1 word on channel 1 or at all. My squad was expecting me to play today (I was supposed to be flight leader or this frame) so I just had to show up, in any way I could. 10 minutes before the frame started I received a message from Pyro stating to log off this account and if they detect any more intrusions they will "pursue this to an end", all I can say is, "fanatasism consists of redoubling your efforts when you have forgotten your aim."
I am I not going to bring up to this topic with questions about why I was perma banned etc, please do not bring that to this topic. However, I beleive a permament ban of me was way too harsh, everyone losses their temper and gets fed up at times. I have seen people act way worse than the way I did the other night, and many others agree with me.

Lastly, I noticed that in Pyro's thread he stated that "the recent actions taken by HTC in the last few day was not one event but a culmination of events"(or something to that accord), well as far as I can remember, for me anyway, these "other events" probably include the suspension of my CMmanship because of my behavior at times and losing my temper in the TA once and cussing there... these two unfortunate incidents have no relation to what happened on Thursday. Many people have said that I, as a CM, had hosted some of the best events they ever flew in, sadly my bad behavior habits that have followed me here from other less civilised games ruined an otherwise great experience as a CM for me.

My attitude is that of a very competitive person who hates to lose, everytime I lose it is my fault, not because the other person is better, but because I screwed up. This is just the way I am. When you are good at something, unfortunatly, an ego and the attitude I described above comes along with it, just take big time doctors or lawyers for instance.

Anyway, thats about it for now, the above is just how I feel about this whole thing and whats on my mind right now.

p.s. <S> to my squad 9./JG 54 for sticking with me through this whole ordeal, you guys are the best group of friends I've had in my 5 years of playing online games.

"...When you are good at something, unfortunatly, an ego and the attitude I described above comes along with it, just take big time doctors or lawyers for instance...".

To compare the skills required for a computer game to something that REALLY does require skill..a doctor, athlete, etc...sheesh, call me when you break 80 in golf, then I'll listen.
If you get an inflated ego from this or any computer game you definitely need a break.

Computer gaming does require lots of skill, mostly natural skill in my opinion, reflexes, hand eye coordination and just downright natural ability.

Beating someone in an online game is no different than beating someone in an athletic sport in my opinion.
Just like real life, practising alot and having the time to play more than a person that does not, helps. Equipment also helps, just as real life. ;P

<S> Nath< I'm happy you sent a letter to HTC.

Dealing with humanity requires skill...playing games only requires repetition. (IMO)
