Actually cats survive falls from terminal velocity.  So the cat would have most likely lived.  Obviously the cat would have died from the lack of atmosphere though.

Unless his velocity was high enough to not exceed his 9 lives before 15k.

He would have froze to death first. All our military ejection seats etc. were set to open below 14,000ft and his fall was only 4 1/2 minutes or so If I'm remembering right Kitty's brain might not be fried in 2-3 minutes...  :headscratch:

Just in from Fox News ... Alex baumgartners cat tired of eating cheap cat food and using the front lawn as a cat pan has committed suicide.. When asked what happened mr baumgartners response was "That's one fast ...... Danika Patrick ain't got nothing on that ..."
