He was paying attn on a hot deck. The guywho was knocked down was chitchatting.

I remember seeing this vid in 1988 when I went through CFR school at NAS Memphis. So yeah Semp is right.

7 were injured so wasn't just one guy.

On vid I saw one guy hit. It did not show the others but it is not surprising. Always dangerous on top when they are launching or retrieving. I'm sure they have problems with folks getting used to it and getting soft on paying attention. It happens in lots of places.

I spent hundreds of hours on the flight deck of the Eisenhower. Only an idiot wouldn't pay attention while they were running ops.
