The numbers have bounced all over since this was first reported.  Got as high as 128 at one point 

As a Spit fanatic I hope they are there.

According to the report, they must all be happy about the deal finally because they'll finally begin pulling the first ones out in about two weeks.

Sadly the guy who did all the work to find them, has been essentially cut out of the process by someone with deeper pockets.

thats what I was worried about, but the article says that Cundall has signed the deal. if thats true then its great news - the property developer guy who was trying to hijack the deal has been cut out and the guy who spent the last 20yrs and all his wealth searching for them will get a decent cut

This is how I read it too, and good for him...now we just have to wait and see what is actually brought up.

What are the odds that after he digs them up and ships them back the British government will step in and claim that they never ceded their ownership, and by the way thank you for returning our property. These planes have only been buried 67 years, Spain and others have claimed rights to treasure lost in shipwrecks centuries ago.
