Advertise?
« on: October 21, 2012, 08:55:38 AM »
Curious, how come there aren't any advertisements for AH? I know there were, but what happened to them all? You can't even find AH without typing in the exact words on the homepage on Google. Not even SimHQ has AH listed on their website.

History Channel's commercial brought me here, but that was at least 5 years ago. I haven't seen any commercials for AH recently.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

I think a half page ad in Fine Scale Modeler would be a great place as well. While I don't have the time to build models much any more I still read about them when I can.

My friend has often remarked that HTC should have one of those tricked-out Winnebagos with several high-end networked rigs to drive around the country.  Airshows, military vehicle expos, even state fairs would all be great venues.  Five bucks gets you 30 minutes with an experienced trainer looking over your shoulder (if you ask).

If I think back top my first 30 mins of MA time in AH2 , and had to pay 5 bucks for that , I would be feeling pretty ripped off . And that was with several weeks flying in the free 8 man rooms beforehand .
Sooo....What , are those guys here to kill you because God forgot too ?

I know I have seen some Adverts in Game Informer for the "World of Tanks" or whatever it is called (im not much of a GV player) I thought to myself that would be a good place for AH to advertise. If at all possible it would make for a great article if they could get them to write one up about it.

Hey Dale, give my car a new paint job? Free accounts for running the painted advertisements for 2 years? Think about it. Remember car wraps?

The most effective Ad AH could do would be behavioral banner ads. These are online banner ads that target people instead of being restricted to one website. So anyone that visits aviation, history or war websites would be targeted.

This way the Aces High ads would appear anywhere from Pandora to your favorite news website (only if you have an interest in WWII aviation).

HiTech Creations was founded with a simple philosophy by Dale "HiTech" Addink in 1999.  It's not to create a large corporation, a vast gaming network, or a line of online games.  It's just to create one game, but one that is better than any other like it.  Contrary to most companies, our goal is to keep the company small.  We know that with a singular focus and an experienced cohesive team that enjoys its work, the production, service, support, and overall level of satisfaction will be unmatched.
