Combat Rescues
« on: October 25, 2012, 04:21:05 PM »
Imagine this......a pilot has finaly saved enough perks to fly a 262 so he launches and flys into combat only to be shot down and bails out. Grumbeling he thinks he has just lost 200+ perk points for his little joyride when he remebers he can be rescued. A helicopter flys over and picks him up, then returns him to base and only looses half his perks, and the helicopter pilot gets a quarter of those. Just a thought

In addition to Fugitives comment.  This has been asked before and failed... miserably.  Also, the closest thing we have to a helicopter is Manned Ack.

Because the pilot is still alive
I cost just as much to train a pilot as it is to build an airplane

The perks aren't for the pilot.  Note that pilots of Bf109K-4s and Fw190D-9s are not perked.

Sorry but No. Perks are FAR to easy to come by, some of us have far more perks then we could spend even if we crash 262's into mountains all day long for an entire week.

Want perks? Earn them - there should be no easy ways around getting them - especially not in fighters. You earn them, you use em - if shiat happens then you screwed up, learn from your mistakes till next time you get the perks.

Yes and auto-gyros as well.  The first combat rescue by a helicopter occured during WW2 in April of 1944 in the CBI theater of operations.

bomb you are a good stick, just don't fly perk planes, fly 20+ eny and having some fun. Won't be long you have more perks then you know what to do with.
1 in 20 262 sorties I actually take seriously, the rest I clown around

250 perks so what? I blew 1,000 in 5 minutes, who cares? why not? does it matter? nope

I had fun that's all that matters. Cancel your account then it wont matter either way. For the record i started with 14,900 in little over a year, think I am barely above 7000 now.
100 was a goal, then 1000, then 2000....now its just for fun to see how fast I can lose them so I have a goal to blow them again.

/mountains man... they are like sober, and jump out at you and stuff
