Thanks!

Power still on here (obviously) but I'm not expecting it to last through the night.

People should take their Monopoly game boards and stick them underwater for an hour or so to get a true picture of the aftermath.

To those of you on the east coast remember this -

If a swordfish hits your house, don't go outside. Its the storm's way of tricking you into a trap!

But in all seriousness keep it safe.

Lost power for a little over 5 hours. Sure enough, lights come back on after I finish cooking by candlelight.

I'm glad I picked this week to go to Disney.

I missed the one in 78, I was on my aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Iran.

I lived in Derry from '96-2000 I miss blizzards, then again, I was in elementary school and prayed for a snowday almost every night. I remember one storm, we were without power for 2 weeks I think.

I prayed and hoped that my close friends and AH comrades who live on the md atlantic and upward to the north east states were and are safe........

some of the video and pictures can make one worry..... especially when it is cold , the fresh water (pumps/water stations) are not working and the power is out......

We have you and your Familys in our thoughts

cheers
