I heated the tires regularly on any Sunday I was racin the Duster ..this is a pix a friend took when I was runnin 10" slicks, 3.91's in the back, a 10" converter, and the six pac setup on my 440 powered Duster:

When I switched to tunnel ram, 4.89's, 13" slicks and 8" converter the car would not stay in the burnout box very long..literally pushing the front tires when the slicks got hot enough :)
Was awesomely consistent ..to two decimal places.
