Kansas made it to 1st place for the first time in it's history..... for one week. Then was beaten by unranked Baylor who had never beaten a ranked team..... 52 - 24

#2 Oregon lost also.


What a scramble at BCS. lol

Bama should not be at #2.  Bama lost to a A&M team that was lower ranked than Stanford.  Bama should still be behind Oregon even by strength of schedule alone.  Bama's schedule was a joke.  3 ranked teams on that schedule.  They should be punished for that.  Georgia, Florida, and Oregon should all be above Bama.

Oregon's schedule was just as weak, if not weaker than Bamas.  And Bamas schedule was practically the same schedule it has had for the past few years...cant help the other teams decided to suck.  Oregon only played 4 ranked teams...the highest of which was 13 Stanford.

Tonight is a reckoning. The oldest CFB rivalry in the west, at stake, only glory and the chance at a better bowl game.

Two first year head coaches will see first hand the extreme level of bitter hatred between Arizona and Arizona State and by extension between Tucson and Phoenix.

Taking the family and I don't think these girls fully comprehend how the stadium will be rocking and how fights will break out in the stands and on the field.

The Grey Cup is this Sunday. Just about always a great game unlike the uber hyped Super Dude.

Had the Arkansas-LSU "Battle for the Boot" yesterday as well. It was frustratingly close because I had expected us to get blown out. So many missed opportunities: fumble on the lsu 2 yard line, numerous redzone stalls, settling for a fieldgoal from the goal line deep in the 4th quarter... I believe we've had 24 turnovers this season alone!!!

Actually Oregon and Oregon states is a older rivalry by 5 years it started in 1894  Arizona and Arizona states started in 1899.
