I did sell the Charger to fund this one.

Well...some might think I traded down Ink...depending on personal likes.

I loved the Charger and if it was a 68 or 69 I would never have sold it.  Had an opportunity to purchase and restore a car that was always a fav of mine growing up.  And it's a manual transmission, triple black example.  I wanted a stick, and too get back into the 60's.  It's coming along very nicely and should be extremely sexy when complete.

No, it's a standard 350 model.  Multi leaf already, and I built engine and exhaust out to HO specs.  #18 heads, 68 cast intake, 4 barrel, duels.  Not going to clone though (no stripe)  A-A code starlight black with black vinyl and interior.  3 speed manual Hurst, console delete. 3:55 Posi.

well..me personally I would never take a firechicken over a Mopar


but when I was around 11-12 my "dad" had a 67 firebird ragtop...Yellow with white interior......They are very nice looking cars....
I do remember he had issues with the timing chain, kept breaking.....but it was a badass car. 


and as long as it makes you happy, thats all that matters.....I am sure it will be sick.

The only Pontiac's I am crazy about are the 65 and 66 GTO's.  I put those models in the same class as the 69 Charger, as far as aesthetics are concerned.

In the sixties, I think 69 was the banner year for all the car makers hot rods.  Mustang, Charger, Challenger, Camaro, Chevelle SS were really sharp looking cars and could be ordered from the factory with all the go-fast options you could handle.  It was a good year.
