New or updated Toys in this game are like feminine favors. We are not wired to remember the last favor she gave and are always searching for more like we never received one in our lives.

Just remember the Me410. We sold ourselves a drag racing Peter Built semi, and Hitech delivered an 18 wheeler with a full load in the trailer. I see more 110's in the early AH modeling than I see 410's today.

Still I hope we get some of those all white and white sided skins. They are kind of neat looking.

Most women would want greater emphasis on "Not Wired to Remember"........

Group of british neurobilological researchers in the last decade used MRI and proved males just aint wired to remember. We is wired to identify, chase, and capture. That's part of why we like cartoon games where we can chase each other around and go:

PIU, PIU, PIU.................

But, quickly get bored with our toys.

Yes, but the Hurricane doesn't have a 50 ft/lb wing loading.  ;)

As CV based attack aircraft they will be the tool of expertin. Anyone less talented will feed the defenders. I will not be looking forward to separating the wheat from the chaff. In years past AH had some HurriWizards who caused players to make similare complaints as to the Brewster.

Hitech, Will the cannon option on the SeaHurri slow it down to under 280?

Sea Hurricane MkIC

The Hawker Sea Hurricane Mk IC was similar to the Mk IB, but was armed with four 20mm cannon in place of the eight .303in machine guns of the earlier aircraft. The Mk IC was produced by fitting Hurricane IIC wings onto late-series Hurricane I fuselages, converted to carry the arrestor hook and catapult spools needed for naval operations. The extra weight of the cannon wings had a surprisingly dramatic impact on the top speed of the aircraft, dropping it below 300mph, but the extra firepower was invaluable.

The Sea Hurricane Mk IC entered service in January 1942 with No.811 Squadron, and was later used by Nos.801, 802, 803, 880, 883 and 885 Squadrons. Alongside the Mk IB it took part in the defence of Arctic Convoy PQ18, with aircraft from Nos. 802 and 882 Squadrons operating on HMS Avenger. Four Sea Hurricanes were lost during the battles around the convoy, although three of the pilots were rescued, and five enemy aircraft shot down, demonstrating the value of the Sea Hurricane. Although its lower speed made it difficult for the Mk IC to catch the Ju 88, the firepower from the four cannon made a kill far more likely when combat did occur, while many encounters were with older, slower German aircraft.

I've read references that the Sea Hurri could carry 8 rockets.

The Seahurri IIc where modified to fire rockets but only used them, as far I could tell with the 25lb Solid shot head. The S/S where designed to punch through and sink shipping.

Quote
As the development of airborne rockets was urgent, it was decided to use the 3 inch rocket motor used for A.A. use and to develop a 25lb shot and 60lb shell rocket head. The 25lb shot was relatively easy to design as it was similar to shot used in gun ammunition, these were first used in action in June 1942. It was also later found that 25dpr AP shot could be modified to be fired from rockets, towards the end of 1944 a new type of shot was introduced, this also weighed 25lbs but had a more tapered shape and thus a straighter underwater trajectory.

The 25lb shot headed rockets were used successfully against seaborne targets, especially submarines. In trials the AP rockets were found to cause serious damage to tanks, especially as after penetration of the armour they introduced burning and unburnt cordite into the tank which virtually guaranteed a fire to take place inside the vehicle. Although very damaging, the rockets were inaccurate and even if several rockets were fired at once a hit was not guaranteed.

On top of that the rockets caused alot of drag and many hurris had their  20mm guns reduced to 2 or removed altogether to gain back some performance.

will any of the variants have them as a loadout option?

Very slim to no chance.

The only Hurri that was factory fitted to use Rockets was the Hurri IV, which would see very little use in AH. Its was armed with 8 rockets and 1-2 aiming 303s.

Seahurricanes were fitted with 2x 250lb bombs, as the Mk IIB model, the IIC model had 2x 500lb bombs. Someone will have to look into it, but I believe the IIC was fitted with 4x rockets and not a field modification.
