A couple of pictures from the Polish air force museun , Krakow
« on: November 30, 2012, 08:54:15 AM »

Not a bad museum , they have a lot of aircraft out side in need of restoration, however most of the aircraft inside are in a good condition , the world war one stuff looks very good , although most dont have wings , a tour guide from the salt mine i visited yesterday said the Russians stole the wings ;)
Cost's 10Zloty to get in and you can get real close to the aircraft .

Nice! We have an aviation museum in my hometown as well. Always a nice place to take an evening off and gaze at the dream-machines of yesteryear.

the kalamazoo Airzoo has a neat display
they boast the entire Cat collection a few years ago during a model convention,
we had a squad party going on at my house and of course we went to the Airzoo.
they had the Wildcat open and we could take turns sitting in it for photo ops. that when I learned my 6 foot plus frame would never fit in one <sigh>
