Does the Sarge count?  As a kid I always got stuck being the LT. because my dad's helmet had a LT bar on it.  My buddy got to be the Sarge cause his Dad had been a Sargent in Korea.  Everyone wanted to be Sargent Saunders.  I think it was the Tommy gun :)

Haha brings back old memories Dan!

But I'd have to go with a cartoon figure... "Here I come to save the day"

Even used it as a handle long ago!

Rob believe it or not I see the truck from Highway man nearly every day. It is sitting out here in Northeast TX on a backwoods country road in front of a shabby tattoo parlor. It has been converted to a mobil tattoo parlor the guy takes to county fairs and swap meets.

Figures, what a shame though.

And to think it used to turn into a chopper and haul a futuristic lamborghini.  Do they ever fly the chopper out of the cab at those festivals?

Someone posted on youtube a video of the cab turning into the helicopter.  Did they use a Gazelle?
http://youtu.be/asYhAU_mzxw?t=2m24s

I looked up the other truck Jetto the Aussie drove and it turns out that it was a prototype for a new style semi truck.

I'm curious about our resident truckers opinions of the Steinwinter here.  To me it looks like a good idea to put the cab under the trailer.  At least in europe, I don't think we have cab length regulations here in the states.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I saw some of that type truck running around Houston in the mid 70's. Must have been a prototype test.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Did it look like this?

It seems to be the same company, I remember it being in a truck book I had before I knew how to really read.  It was the weird looking truck.

Pulling out a refridgerator stocked with the best cuts of meat for grilling on command is hard to beat.

If you've got a young kid, speed racer cartoons from the 60s had a pretty big body count which shows kids the harsh consequences.

This made it all the more epic in my young mind.

Some of the artwork on the backgrounds of that show was amazing.

Speed racer fer sure.
Tongo ("Ut OH TONGO") from the Banana splits "Danger Island"
Super man, Batman, (of the 60's)

Robot from the original "Lost in Space"

Flipper

The Greatest of all time

"He shrugged his shoulders. "I have known many gods. He who denies them is as blind as he who trusts them too deeply. I seek not beyond death. It may be the blackness averred by the Nemedian skeptics, or Crom's realm of ice and cloud, or the snowy plains and vaulted halls of the Nordheimer's Valhalla. I know not, nor do I care. Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and priests and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content."

if reading that does not quicken the blood.......you are not a man.

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

When the game is over, the Kings and Pawns all go into the same box.

My only experience with ultraman was when I was in grade school.  I rented the Ultraman game for NES and thought it was the stupidest thing ever.  I remember seeing him on MST3K as well a few years later.
