the one thing I noticed whith the clipboard, is that sometimes when I bring it up all the planes turn to big squares and have to hit esc continuously until it returns to normal. It sometimes can take a few tries
I think its my old pc though

ya, it sounds like the card is running out of resources and so shows planes (complex pictures) as boxes (not so complex).

I have something similar. When I first enter an arena, it takes a while for all the graphics to draw. If I close the clipboard, it will draw faster. Then I bring the clipboard back up, and everything is ok.
