Watched the whole thing. Funny thing is they didn't really do any "fighting"....

They mostly helped evacuate civilians etc.

*shrugs* They had two options: Kill Russians (what they were told) or be starved, cold, or shot (the black mail alternative about the prostitutes).

Apparently a bloke in my pub great uncle knew the bloke who used to deworm Hitlers dog, he was from Wigan :old:

After the war he said know one knew he was British and he had access to all area's of Hitlers person :old:

Wigan is renound for its historical links to Germany.

There is a road in Wigan that also leads to a pier , but that's another story
