need some help with drivers for the x52 .
I can't get the joystick to work properly since the last few updates.
stick wont go down  or then drops and sticks  or in set up it seems to be shaking and spiking? :rolleyes:

Any ideas on a cure would be welcomed thx

it is possible the spiking is dirt or dust in the pots. goto control panel/devices and get the saitek properties (i think properties). there you can do a test and see if the stick is spiking without being in the game. i don't use the saitek drivers in the game. This should help you troubleshoot your problem.

I just took my saitek apart and used compressed air and cleaned the dust out and used the electrical cleaning lubricating as described in video. The spiking stopped on my x52.

(note: Also I did the pots on the bottom of the stick even though I didn't have problems with them.)

Its usually not dirt, i have an X52 that used to do that. First get rid of the software that came with the stick, its absolutely useless. Second, download the new drivers, and third try using a different usb plug. It sounds crazy but that usually fixed mine
