hey Majors, dont leave sir. us younger types sure like learning what we can from you guys. ET37 comes to mind. he was a real b29/b17 pilot. when we do missions with him, he has comms, and everything he says is authentic lingo and terms that they really did use. for me, i can hear the need in his voice to give us that experience as best as he can. i listen intently, bc im afraid ill miss out on a piece of authentic history. i want you old codgers here, for me its gratifying and almost fatherly when ET says " that a boy, go get em!" when we see a bad guy in on the bombers. you want to fight for him. i swell with pride every dam time. it makes me feel good for him to see us giving the red guys hell. hes the kind of leader that folks cant help but follow, bc hes that dam good and magnetic. i would bet that just based on your experience in life, you have that same effect on the guys who surely look up to you. i really hate to see our heroes leave the game. bc all the knowledge you have. not just in game, but the branches of thinking that spring up after flying with you guys. it offers real life experience to draw from. for me, as soon as i heard ET was a real bomber pilot, i started daydreaming about what he mustve been thinking on bomb runs, how it mustve been to fly one of those big dam planes, so on and so on. it opened up a whole new world of thinking and his time became even more real to me. thats worth the 15 a month by itself imo. sure hate to see you go.
all my best to you,
