I think I understand what you want, I just can't think of a reason why.  (why would you want/need two sepearate control or saved head positions profiles/configurations for one aircraft?  Maybe if you had two different joysticks which you swap between all the time, but I think the game already saves and rememebers a different profile with each different controller/joystick.)

Sorry, I should of been more specific.

I meant for hanger loadouts.

I fly the 410 quite a bit and its a very mission oriented machine (you cant just throw it into a situation and hope for results).

So I would like to be able to save the 3-4 configurations that i usually use instead of manually changing them each time the attack/defense situation changes.

How would you want that to work?  You want to remember what 3-4 configurations actually is for every plane in the game? :huh  That would be harder then simply selecting your loadout before takeoff.

Mk-84, you have to forgive me if I am unable to explain it in a manner which is easily understood by everyone; I used to spend a lot of my free time programming, and for me; in my head, it might be as simple as a "save/load" button with a droplist of "Configs" made during a previous AH2 session.

Ask me to explain again if I am not properly conveying this to you. :_(

So pretty much you want it like this.

Setup 1:  30mm, DT, 20ms/13ms
Setup 2:  50mm, rockets, 20ms/13ms

Right?  If so....   Waste a few more seconds of your "precious time" and CLICK WHAT YOU WANT.

I fly the 410 too, and have NEVER thought of something as ludicrous as this.

Well, why click 3-4 times when I can do it once?

More flight time; more fight time! :D

Could even make it faster by, instead of a drop down list, a button would represent each config and you just press that to launch it.

It's not something I'd use too much, but it does make sense.  You'd need a tab for saved configurations (perhaps just use the "Favourites" tab), a "save setup" button on the hanger menu and a save file requester to name the file.

Me410 ground attack
Me410 anti-bomber
Mosquito JABO
Mosquito interceptor
Etc.

Yes, this is a convenience, not a must-have, but software (and AH) is a game of steady, incremental improvement.  Otherwise we'd still be saying "Wouldn't it be cool to have multi-player air combat simulator?"

You mean like a very specific few configurations of specific aircraft?  Opening a menu to load a specific plane config that you set?  Rather than having an option for every aircraft (as I envisioned)?

im not normally one to downright say no to a wish... but no... i cannot see the point of saving a second on two or three clicks. im thinking there is alot more that they could be spending time on then this

I wish people would use the wish list forum to post their brilliant ideas, and be smart enough to not post all their stupid ones.

But I am under no disillusions of my wish ever being fulfilled.

No unless its really easy to code.   If they did it, seems like it would simplest to use if it just added the saved configs to the hangar list so you see the regular 410 and your personal saved loadouts in blue below.  Click the one you want.
