Jeep flight model
« on: December 13, 2012, 12:15:07 AM »
Needs to be changed... engine in front means nose forward moment not...back flips of which I have three on wheels landed back flips....huh :bolt: OH new achievement......back flip a jeep and land on wheels.
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

I've flipped a Jeep and had it land vertically on its grill and stick there.  That worth anything?  ;)

I've often wondered about this too, oddly enough.  Maybe it's a torque induced roll, as you depart terra firma your front wheels get in the air first, leaving the only point of contact your rear wheeles, and while you're firmly holding down the accelerator, this induces the back flip briefly before they also become airborne?

Gravity accelerates both the light end and heavy end at the same rate.  :old:

I used to control the pitch of my motorcycles with torque from the back wheel when in flight off the hump-back bridges down the country lanes of England. Don't tell the bizzies
