Can you bomb yourself now?

This i myself am not sure of,and anything i would say would be an educated guess,but I'm sure someone will come along that dose know.

I've dueled Redbull plenty of time where I've bombed him mid-air... Granted he ends up doing the same thing to me :|

Sometimes, if your lucky, you can bomb guys trying to come under you if you lose a turret.

was about to shoot down a lancaster while he was calibrating his bombsight, but didnt have enough time to climb. So was just gained some speed and was trying to pull up to his belly.
Then suddenly... shhhhhhhh, <crashing sound>, tower...   epic fail...

I do it quite a bit while in a Mossi.  I believe it is the fact that I do a lot more high speed shallow dive-bombing rather than the steep °45 or sharper dive angle more commonly used in a single engine jabo.

Hmmm...has anyone ever put those bombs that the Luftwaffe tried to use to break up USAAF bomber formations on the wishlist?

I recall they were in SWOTL.

Were they ever actually used operationally?

Interestingly, that was what the Corsair was originally designed to do: Climb above bomber formations and pepper them with bomblets stored in the wings. That was quickly scrapped, though.

Yes. On large scale bombing raids we always tell everyone to spread out and keep your bombsights clear of any friendlies. If your bomb strikes a friendly, you strike out to the tower.
