<S> to Army of Muppets

You all bravely flew the B-29s into a hornet's nest.  :salute

Special  :salute to Thias.  :salute

That was very impressive work he did with his single B-29 in actively trying to get onto my 6 o'clock position against my Ki-61.  I kept looking back for your Hellcat escort to dive in on me while my attention was staying away from his guns.  We scissored a couple of passes until I could get a first shot anywhere while looking for F6's.

He dived too fast and lost one drone and turned to sharply and lost the other.  Just have to be gentle with the B-29.

regardless of which side you fly, you will always eventually end up in bombers. not all the time, but it has to happen. everyone gets their turn in bombers.
in fso, we always use manual calibration. if you've not done that before, get with someone if/when you can that can teach it to you and your squaddies. also, there sometimes is wind, which also needs to be accounted for.

even though you would've prefered axis this trip.......how're ya enjoying it this time 'round?

yep. this one especially did for me, especially in frame 1. i got seperated from my squad in combat over hiroshima, managed to get a ponyd to compress, and next thing i knew, i was at 5,000ft hundreds of miles behind enemy lines, alone. trying to vector to friendlies, get back up to alt, and manage my fuel so i could make it home on that loooong over water flight has had me thinking what the guys that did it for real must've felt when similar happened to them for real.  i landed with about 7 minhutes of fuel.
last night, 3 of us trailed behind the stream to cover a damaged 29 that couldn't keep up. same thing. long over water flight, watching fuel, keeping heads on the swivel, and even encountered an enemy at a point that not a single one of us expected it.

godddam this one is immersing some of us deep.
