I say fake.  The shadows and the hang time of the toddler once released gives it away.

You mean the slow motion at the end of the video?

Shadows didn't look mismatched.  They line up with the shadows from the person and the trees.  Hangtime is purely an artifact of slow motion.

not surprising.  i've heard tell of hawks in CT making passes at small dogs on the property of wealthy land owners.
