Quick question on new ords
« on: December 23, 2012, 07:09:20 AM »
Taking the Ju-87 as an example. Do the 1,000kg AP bomb and 1,000kg GP bomb do the same amount of damage, or do you still have to add the extra 150% damage for the AP?

AP has 150% of damage but at a cost of being reduced to 20% blast radius

Yes I know that, I was wondering if that was already calculated in the hangar.

Does the 1,000kg bomb AP do 1,000kg of damage or 1,500kg of damage since it's AP?

OR

Is the 1,000kg AP bomb actually a 500kg bomb but is listed at 1,000kg since its AP?

Sorry if I'm not being very clear, in case you couldn't tell I failed my english classes.  :o

The latter. 1000kg is the actual weight of the bomb, it's not a 500kg bomb in disguise.

To be exact, a 1000kg GP bomb does 1,890lbs of damage, while the 1000kg AP does 150% of that =~ 2,835lbs of damage.
