Nope. Not even close.

In '68 a F105 flyby went supersonic at the Air Force Academy, breaking over 300 windows. Fifteen cadets were injured by glass. Pilot claimed "instrumentation error."

In the late 70's an SR-71 dipped below minimum speed and firewalled the throttles over the cadet area. Broke a few windows without even breaking the sound barrier.

The A-10 in the photo is from the 355th FW at Davis Monthan AFB Tucson AZ.
The same place the incident took place.. They probably think they really did their homework.  :lol

My parents used to tell me all the time about hearing sonic booms rattle the windows in our house back in the 70's and 80's from the planes flying out of Dyess AFB.  I never heard of anything damaged though.  :noid

T-38's used to train out above the Arizona desert when I was a kid. We loved those "BOOMS". Made us feel safe that the Air Force was watching over us.  :old:

I remember at a Control comp. at Dobbins ARB here in GA. back in 06 we had a F-14 and a F-22 hit full Abs over the parking lot. About 450ft above us the F-14 jock waved the ground mumbled a bit when they came over.
