During the 30 minutes leading up to the start of any FSO event, it can get very busy for us CM's. For the most part, we try to stay out of your way so you can plan your missions, chat with your buddies and prepare to have a good time. But please,
if we ask you a question (almost always via PM) we expect an answer. During these last few minutes before the fields open, we are trying to make sure everyone on the roster is showing as a member of a registered squad. If a question goes unanswered, it adds to our workload and adds to the possibility of someone being grounded. Remember, anyone not showing as a member of a registered squad when fields open, will be grounded...no matter who they are.
Squad leaders, please help us to help you...by keeping an eye on the roster for any of your pilots (regulars or guests) that are not showing as being a member of your squad. Send them an invite as soon as you can. There have also been times where there was nobody from the squad in the arena that has invite privs; maybe it would be a good idea to have a number of people that normally show up each week be able to send invites.
