I got sorted thanks for your efforts guys  :rock was a spot of accurate translation of some text was all.  :salute

I had no idea there were so few Russians in this game I remember one from midwar who always sounded like he was drunk  :uhoh but have not seen him in years. IL2 and hyperlobby were full of them, I don't think you can put it down to them thinking the flight modelling is bias (could you say the same for IL2?  :D) the yaks and las in here are uber planes  :bolt:

I need someone(s) who can speak Russian! Any takers PM me!  :salute

Pervert, if you're looking for a Russian tranlator for military related stuff, you'll require
one that is knowledgeable of the various technical terms.
Years ago I came across a set of model plans for a Russian warship and took 'em
to a fellow who was "right off the boat" Russian.
One of the terms he translated for me literally came out as "Here is the place for where
the Captain is to sit".

Il2 is made by a Russian company, may have something to do with it.
AH doesn't have Russian language or even cyrillic text support

That make no sense what so ever  :headscratch:

It makes perfect sense. Most countries who were oppressed during Soviet Union rule had to learn the occupiers language and still have a burning hatred against Russians.

I've dated quite a few young Russian ladies in the SF bay area, but never got around to talking Aces High with them as we were much preoccupied with our own games. :)

IIRC isn't he Czech?
