Yea, I saw that clip too. 

I couldn't care less about Auburn (or whomever), but I'm glad the bird wasn't hurt.  I think the flexibility of the plexi window may have averted tragedy... 

I know of a handful of raptors that have died in window collisions like that.  It's amazing that a bird with the strength of an eagle has such a fragile skull and neck.  I have a friend who almost had one of his hawks killed by hitting a window, and I had a falcon hit a window last year.  Fortunately she was ok too. 

I use my birds for a handful of educational lectures each year, and that clip shows one of the reasons I'm nervous and don't allow my birds to do too much free flying.
