Collings Foundation relaunching Fighter Aces?
« on: December 27, 2012, 10:22:18 AM »
A new message on my facebook page this morning from the Collins Foundation asking people how they would feel about them relaunching a game called Fighter Aces using some of the Foundations planes and others as a base of planes to start with.

They say that the owner of code for the game would need 500k to get it going or something like that.

Thoughts?

I played FA since 1.0. Honestly I probably wouldn't bother, I doubt it would be as good as AH2 or FA as it used to be.

Sounds like they are exploring alternate sources of revenue apart from airshows and donations

How cool would it be to an air show spectator and find collings with a display of a couple of machines logged into an arena?

Columbo, a real life b17 and b24 pilot for collings, may find this interesting.
